We can't wait to see all of our Little Royals tomorrow!!! One more important reminder for our Kindergarten parents.

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!! Please pay close attention to these instructions for CAR RIDERS!!
Drop Off:
-Student drop-off begins at 7:20. Please keep your children in your car until then.
-There is only one line for morning drop-off. Even if you need to park, please make sure you go in the same direction as the car rider line.
-Parents need to stay in their car.
-The first car pulls up to Coach Jordan at the main crosswalk. Please do not leave gaps in the line.
-Please make sure your child is ready to get out of the car.
-Once traffic stops and you pull up next to the COVERED WALKWAY, your child needs to get out. Do not wait until you pull all the way up to the front of the line. This holds up the entire car line. They do not need to wait for a teacher to open the door. Teachers are there to help with younger students as needed.
-DO NOT GO AROUND CARS. Stay in the line.
Pick Up:
-There are two lanes for pick-up. However, the second lane is not open until 2:10 so that traffic can still flow through the parking lot.
-Please have your child's number visible until after your child gets into your vehicle.
-The first car pulls up to Coach Jordan at the main crosswalk. Please do not leave any gaps in the line.
-Once it is safe to start moving, we will release you. DO NOT ROLL FORWARD AT ALL (EVEN TO CLOSE A GAP) UNTIL WE RELEASE YOU.
-DO NOT SWITCH LANES, even if traffic is flowing faster in the other lane.
-If we are holding one or both lanes, it is because students are still walking to cars.

As the school year approaches, just another reminder of the state mandated cell phone policy. This policy also applies to smart watches capable of sending/receiving calls and messages. We appreciate your help in creating a distraction free learning environment!

Parents and families,
Please note the changes for August 7th and 19th. Our 3rd and 4th grade teams would like to meet with you before school begins. If you have a child entering 3rd or 4th grade, please plan to attend with your child. Teachers will review procedures and expectations with you in the library, then welcome you to the classrooms to drop supplies and ask questions. We look forward to another fantastic year!
Please help us spread the word. Thank you!

We have another fantastic addition to our JES family!
"Hi ! My name is Chelsey Trawick. I have been a substitute teacher at Jay for the last two years , and have loved every minute of it. I am so excited to begin my new role as a paraprofessional at Jay Elementary. I have a passion for helping kids learn and grow and cannot wait to make a positive impact in the classroom each day. I have two daughters that both attend JES, one in second grade and the other in fifth. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, fishing, and gardening. I look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones this year! It's great to be a Royal!"

Happy Father's Day!

We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Hannah Hendricks to our Kindergarten team at JES!
Hi! My name is Hannah Hendricks. I am so excited to be a teacher at the school where I grew up! I started my journey as paraprofessional back in 2019, and have been teaching ESE Pre-K for 3 years in Milton.
I have a passion for working with young children and love watching them grow!
My husband, Jared, and I are in the process of adopting our first child, Tamaya. She is going to be a 6th grader at Jay this year!
We are proud members of our church at Mt. Carmel, and we enjoy being apart of the children’s program there. I am looking forward to this new chapter of my life and am excited for the school year to begin!

We are so excited to announce that Kelly Burke will be joining our Kindergarten team!
My name is Kelly Burke, and I am truly honored to join the Jay Elementary family. With 13 years of experience in elementary education—10 of those in kindergarten—I have found my passion in helping young learners build a strong foundation during this important and exciting stage of their development. It is a privilege to be part of a child’s first school experiences, and I take that responsibility to heart.
I am a proud graduate of the University of West Florida and hold certifications in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership.
My husband, Patrick, our son, Bryson, and I recently returned to Pace after living in Denver, Colorado for the past five years. We’re grateful to be back home, close to our loved ones, and excited to grow roots in this wonderful community once again.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family at the beach, gardening, and cheering on our favorite sports teams.
I look forward to meeting you all!
