🎉 Help Support the Ronald McDonald House! 🏠
Each year, the JES Jr. Beta Club collects pop tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House, which helps families stay close to their hospitalized children.
💡 How You Can Help:
Save your pop tabs and bring them to Mrs. Macht anytime during the school year. Every tab makes a difference!
Let’s make this year’s collection the biggest yet! 💪❤️

School Board Meeting Thursday! Woodlawn Beach Middle School at 5:30.

Help us Welcome Mrs. Lunsford to Jay Elementary!!
Hi! My name is Amber Lunsford, and I am thrilled to be a teacher at Jay Elementary! I grew up in Chumuckla and graduated from Pace High, then the University of West Florida in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I love seeing children learn and grow! I have 15+ years of experience teaching and working with children in a volunteer setting. I have spent the last 12 years working in marketing and accounting, and I am so excited to finally be combining my professional career with my enthusiasm for children and learning. My husband, Tanner, is a manager at Emerald Coast Growers and we have three children that all attend JES - one in kindergarten, one in third grade, and one in fourth grade. Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, fishing, reading, and coaching soccer. I am actively involved in church, where I have been the preschool director for over eight years. I am so excited about this new journey and cannot wait to meet you all! 💙🐾🤍

🎗️💛 JES Went Gold Today for Childhood Cancer Awareness 💛🎗️ Our classrooms were filled with golden colors and golden hearts, reminding us that even small acts—like wearing a color—can make a big difference. Thank you to all of our students, teachers, staff, and families who helped us spread awareness for a great cause. Together, we showed that our school is a place where hope shines bright and no child fights alone. 🌟

Reminder to wear GOLD on Friday 9/26! Students can also wear a hat for a $1 donation.

We are excited to announce that Riana Smith has joined our 4th grade team.
Hi! My name is Riana Smith, and I’m so excited to be joining 4th grade as the new Science and Social Studies teacher! I’m a proud alumni of JES and JHS! I graduated from UWF in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and spent two years working as a Registered Nurse before following my true passion of teaching. I began my journey in education as a paraprofessional in 2022 and have spent the past three years teaching CBSA Pre-K at JES. My husband, Cody, and I are blessed with two wonderful boys, ages 3 and 11 months old, who will one day be proud Royal Cubs! I am so excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to meet everyone!💙🤍🐾

Parents, we will be having our Book Character Parade on October 24th this year! 🎉Plan ahead to help your child dress up and come at 1:30 to watch them parade around the PE track. Whether it's a DIY costume or something store-bought, it’s all about celebrating stories and sparking imagination. Students can stop by the library if they need help choosing a great book! This is one of our favorite events, don't miss it!
~nothing scary please, our Littlest Royals will be enjoying this event and we don't want anyone to be afraid.
